While President Trump orders everyone back to work, the governor of California
Gavin Newsom ignores the order and decides to put a prohibition on all hairstylist and beauty salons of his state to keep them out of work, (even though, there has never been a case where Covid 19 has been transmitted to another person through a beauty salon). Newsom’s aunt, Nancy Pelosi gets caught, as many did during the alcohol prohibition, from 1920 to 1933 in the United States and blames the salon owner for setting her up.
In California, cosmetologists must spend 1600 hours in beauty school learning skin care, nails, hair styling, cutting, coloring and bleaching, permanent waving, and sanitation to protect the public, before taking a licensing State Board of Cosmetology test. This is how stylists make their money. Not only by cutting hair outside. So, it is no wonder many hairstylists and others Newsom will not let work, have signed a petition for the governor’s impeachment. Everyone needs to get back to work.
With Gavin Newsom’s red light, yellow light system of Covid-19 prevention, the lighting system never includes a green light calling everyone back to normal work.
